PostSubject: Wiring LED''s to the console.   Wiring LED's to the console. EmptySat May 16, 2009 10:08 am

Hello everyone, my name is Zach, and I'm new to 360 modding. I want to add LED's to the inside of my console, but I'm not sure how. I've seen lots of pics of 360's with lights in them, but I'm not sure how to do this. Yes, I have a lexan window on the side, and yes, I know how to solder. Can anyone please tell me how to do this?

Hooking up a cathodes is the easiest and probably the best way. Just get 1 or 2 (preferably 2, they usually come this way) and then hook up the inverter to the 12v power on the underside of the mobo.

Okay, thanks rider ^^ btw, I have been testing the controller vibrators, and they will tangle the LED wires up, if done the way I was talking about (on llama) same if you use the servo, I have mine hooked seperatly and on the side, run threw the cylinder, which caught fire earlier today... (I'm not sure if you want me talking about it here or not, its not really hijacking a thread, being that I posted the thread. But, I'm doing more work on that idea.

theres no issue with it in this case. But I thinking we would have to have a brush thing going on for this to work....much like any electric motor.
