| Yeah it does.
I hooked my programmer up to a serial connection and the software was ale to identify and see the chip, but still wouldn't program it. I said screw it and bought one from a US seller... damn Hong Kong...
I'm gonna take the $20 loss, it would cost like $15 to ship it back for a refund anyway.

| So I got my new programmer today, and it works perfectly.
Gonna throw together a RF controller in a few to test it out.
I think the problem with my last one was software based, the software for this programmer is exactly the same and the board reads as the same model as the other one. (k149-bc) I loaded up the old software and it still wouldn't program the chip, however the new software will. Oh well.
SR2K, if you can't get it to work on your PC let me know and I'll send you this program and see if it works.

| I got mine like a week ago but I haven't gotten to it. It does seem high quality though. And how do you know if a chip is fried? | |

| I guess it just won't register anything then...? I'm only asking because I don't have time to play with it. I haven't even installed the software. | |

Thanks Nope, I already sent it once, there is a one time transfer only, all other transfers will cost $10. Sent, let me know if you get it ok. And FYI, I put your stuff in the mail yesterday, I went ahead and sent it priority so you should get it tomorrow probably. Steve

The first one is for the old code that doesn't beat the current COD4 patch, do you still want it? - SR2K wrote:

Well, this aint' China baby! Really, I don't mind, it ended up not being much different in price, plus I didn't get it in the mail on Saturday like I said. Steve

| Alright, Thanks chiefs, I got it.
Now for a question about the programmer (Yes collins, I got it today, Thanks!) When i go to read or write to the chip it says "Board is not responding, about to apply reset" anyone have experience with that issue? Ive tried two different chips and its the same thing for both.

| That's the problem he was having with it (which is why he got rid of it), I think it's faulty. Mine works flawlessly.

| Hehe, I'm just getting to looking at my programmer.
EDIT: Programmers working, I just need to know how to get the code to open in it now. I know the attachment isn't the direct hex, but how do I derive that?

| One of the chips on my programmer (the 8 pin) was in backwards and getting quite hot. Would that have fried it?
EDIT: and everything seems to be working fine...I can unplug the chip and the computer will make the sound as if the USB were unplugged. I still can't program anything for the reasons described above.

| Are you using MicroPro as your software? If so, you will need to save the hex code file on your computer. Then you click the load button and it will prompt you to tell it the location of the file. It will then load it and you will be able to view it in that big window on the main screen. From there you will click on the program button and that will be it. You should see the LED's blink a few times and then it will say the process is complete.
It does recognize you have a chip in the zif, right?
Steve
